It's built from around 40 herbs, roots, and citrus peels, and it sits on the gentler, more approachable end of the amaro spectrum compared to bitter, medicinal-leaning styles like Fernet — more orange and vanilla forward, with the bitterness balanced rather than dominant. Bottled at 23% ABV, it's often recommended as a starting point for drinkers new to the amaro category before working up to sharper, more herbal bottles.
