About this bottle
Bourbon War is Pinhook's 2023 racehorse-themed annual release, part of the independent Kentucky whiskey brand's tradition of naming each year's bottling after a specific horse, aged eight years for this edition. Pinhook sources and blends its whiskey rather than distilling in-house, aiming for a distinct flavor profile with each yearly release. Expect classic bourbon notes of caramel and vanilla joined by deeper oak and dried fruit from the extended eight-year age, with a rich, warming finish. It suits bourbon drinkers who follow Pinhook's annual releases and want to compare vintage to vintage.
