Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Straight Rye is the barrel-proof rye of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection — bottled uncut and unfiltered each fall at whatever strength roughly six years in new oak produced. Named for the New Orleans bartender who first put rye in the Sazerac cocktail, it is the most immediate whiskey in the Collection: cinnamon bark and clove ride in first, then candied fruit, dark caramel, and a pepper-and-oak finish that carries on well past the sip. Release proof changes year to year; the intensity does not. Allocated on arrival and gone within days, it rewards patience in the glass — a few drops of water open it wide. Take it slowly, and make the second pour a Sazerac.

I want to buy a gift for a friend. Do you do gift packaging?
- Unfortunately, we do not gift wrap as of now, but we do allow for gift notes at checkout and make sure each bottle sent is packaged with care and proper protection so your gift will get there safe and sound.
What is your standard shipping rate?

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
- Email us a picture at Support@liquorverse.com and we will make sure to send you a replacement bottle ASAP!
What do I do if a courier does not deliver my package?
- On rare occasions couriers will mishandle your package and deem it damaged before it arrives and send it back to our warehouse. If this happens to you, please send us an email at support@liquorverse.com. We will send you a new bottle!
