Cincoro Reposado Tequila comes from the brand five NBA owners — Michael Jordan among them — built around agave grown in both the Highlands and Lowlands of Jalisco. That two-region blend rests eight to ten months in Tennessee whiskey barrels, which pull the spirit toward cooked agave, vanilla and caramel with a thread of dried fruit. The palate is soft and rounded: honey and cooked agave, a whisper of pepper, and an unexpected note of white chocolate before oak and spice settle into a long, velvety finish. Bottled at 80 proof. Reposado this polished works best neat in a short glass, though it will carry a top-shelf margarita for anyone unwilling to compromise.
