About this bottle
La Gritona is a women-founded and women-led tequila brand, made from 100% blue agave and rested close to a full year in American oak — on the long end of the legal reposado window, which caps out at just under 12 months before a tequila legally becomes añejo. That extended rest gives it noticeably more oak depth and roundness than a typical reposado that's only aged two or three months, closer in weight to a young añejo while still carrying the reposado designation. Expect vanilla and caramel layered generously over the cooked-agave base, with a genuinely smooth, well-integrated character.
