About this bottle
Lochlea Fallow Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky is crafted in small batches on the Lochlea farm distillery in Ayrshire, Scotland — part of the same farm-to-bottle operation that grows much of its own barley. It's aged in casks previously used to mature sherry, which imparts rich, complex flavor onto the spirit. The Fallow Edition is smooth and balanced, with notes of dried fruit, nuts, and a hint of spice, named for the farming practice of letting a field rest between plantings.
How to drink Lochlea Fallow Edition
Neat in a Glencairn glass is the way to catch the sherry-cask dried fruit and nut character. A few drops of water can open it up if it feels tight at first pour.
