Red Hook
Enzo Errico, Milk & Honey, New York
The Red Hook is rye stirred with Punt e Mes and maraschino, served up with a cherry. Punt e Mes brings a bitter edge to the sweet vermouth, and the maraschino adds a dry cherry note. A late-winter stirred drink.

Bottle math, generally
Batching dilution
When you batch, there's no ice melting in a shaker, so you add the water yourself: 18% for spirit-forward drinks, 25% for shaken ones.
