Armand de Brignac Brut Gold is a multi-vintage Champagne built from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, blended across three separate vintages and bottled in the house's pewter-labelled gold bottle. This listing is the bottle without its presentation box. The nose leans toward ripe apricot, brioche and honeysuckle. The palate is full and creamy, carrying baked apple, salted almond and a thread of fresh citrus over a fine, persistent bead, and the finish is dry and long with a chalky mineral edge that keeps the fruit in check. Serve it well chilled in a white-wine glass rather than a flute, alongside oysters, fried chicken, or simply on its own.
