Angels Envy Bottled in Bond Cask Strength Limited Release 750 ml

Angel's Envy Bottled in Bond is a limited Kentucky straight bourbon from the Louisville distillery that built its name on secondary finishing, moving finished bourbon into port wine barrels for a final stretch when almost nobody else was doing it. Bottled in bond is a stricter frame on top of that: one distilling season, one distillery, and at least four years in a federally supervised warehouse. Expect a nose of caramel, dried cherry and vanilla with a wine-sweet edge, a palate of maple, dark fruit, toasted oak and baking spice, and a long finish that dries out into oak and pepper. Pour it neat, or add a few drops of water and let it sit.
