Picking a barrel means someone tasted through a rickhouse and chose this one, so the bottle is a snapshot of a single spot in a single warehouse rather than a blended house style, and no two picks land the same way. Eight years in new charred oak gives caramel and vanilla on the nose, a palate of brown sugar, cinnamon, toasted oak and dark fruit, and a finish of char and light pepper.
