Family Reunion is simply the name the selection group gave this particular pick. Wheat as the secondary grain instead of rye softens the spice and pushes the whiskey toward caramel and bread-like sweetness, and at cask strength that sweetness arrives with real weight behind it. Expect vanilla, dark cherry and toasted oak on the nose, a palate of brown sugar, stone fruit and cinnamon, and a long, warm finish. Add water a few drops at a time, or drink it neat.
