This is an Angel's Envy single barrel, a store pick drawn from one cask under the Brewzle edition and bottled with its own barrel number rather than blended into a batch. Single barrels are where a distillery's range shows its edges, since no two casks are quite the same and the port-barrel finish that defines Angel's Envy lands differently in every one of them. Expect a nose of dark cherry, maple and vanilla, a palate of dried fruit, toffee, toasted oak and a little bitter cocoa, and a long finish drying into oak and baking spice. Pour it neat in a Glencairn and let it sit a few minutes before the first sip.
