Ardbeg Spectacle Islay Single Malt 750ml

Ardbeg Spectacle is a limited Islay single malt from the distillery on the island's south shore, the one that built its name on heavy peat carried by a long, oily spirit. Like the rest of the range it goes into the bottle without chill filtration, so the texture stays thick and the smoke lands with weight behind it. Expect soot and sea spray on the nose, a palate of tar, smoked lemon and dark chocolate stacked over that trademark medicinal peat, and a finish that runs longer than most. Limited Ardbeg releases do not sit around. Pour it neat and add water a drop at a time.
