About this bottle
Arette Anejo Collective Barrel Pick is a single-barrel selection of the anejo from Destileria El Llano, the family-run house in the town of Tequila itself. Anejo spends a year or more in oak, and choosing a single barrel rather than blending for consistency means this bottling sits a little apart from the standard release, for better or for stranger. Cooked agave stays visible under vanilla, toasted oak and dried orange, with soft baking spice through the middle and a warm caramel finish. Single barrels are gone when they are gone. Drink it neat in a copita, or over one large cube if you prefer it cooler.
