Arette Fuerte Blanco 750ml

Arette Fuerte is the higher-strength blanco in the artesanal line from Destileria El Llano, the family distillery in the town of Tequila. Fuerte means strong, and the point of bottling a blanco this way is that less water leaves more agave: the flavors arrive concentrated rather than smoothed out. Expect roasted agave, cracked pepper and green herbs on the nose, a palate of dense agave, white pepper and citrus oil, and a long, dry finish that runs hot until you give it a moment. It punches through a cocktail that would flatten a standard blanco. Use it in a margarita, or sip it neat in small measures.
