Azulejos Trophy Head Reposado Bottle #1 (Black/White) 750 ml

Azulejos Trophy Head Reposado is a blue Weber agave tequila from Jalisco, presented in a hand-decorated ceramic bull's head, this one in the black and white colourway. Reposado means the spirit rested in oak, long enough to soften the agave's raw edge but not long enough to hide it. Expect cooked agave and light vanilla on the nose, a palate of caramel, citrus peel and gentle baking spice, and a clean finish with a touch of white pepper. The decanter is as much of the appeal as the pour, which is why these tend to end up on a bar top rather than in a cabinet. Serve it neat, or in a slow-built tequila old fashioned.
