Bacardi Coconut Rum 750ml

Bacardí Coconut is a light Puerto Rican rum flavoured with natural coconut, built on the same charcoal-filtered white rum base the house has made since 1862. The coconut is bright rather than heavy: the nose is toasted coconut with a little vanilla, the palate stays soft with cane sweetness and coconut cream, and the finish is short and clean, which is exactly what a mixing rum should do. This is a bottle bought for a purpose rather than for the shelf. Shake it with pineapple juice for a fast piña colada, top it with soda and lime, or stir it into a coconut mojito.
