Big Sky Blue is a Montana straight bourbon from Stonehouse Distillery in Winston, made entirely from organic New Mexico blue corn rather than the yellow dent corn most bourbons use, and cut with Montana water. It's a limited single-barrel release, aged in new, medium-charred American oak. The profile runs caramel, molasses and dark chocolate up front, moving into fresh black cherry, crème brûlée and vanilla bean, with toasted oak, raisin, roasted nuts and butterscotch trailing behind. It's a bourbon for drinkers curious what a genuinely different corn does to a familiar mash bill.

How to drink Big Sky Blue
