Bookers Springfield Batch 2024-01 750 ML

Booker's Springfield Batch is the first release of 2024, and like every Booker's it is bottled uncut and unfiltered at barrel strength, exactly as Booker Noe used to pull it for friends. The batch names come from places and people in the Noe family story, and the whiskey comes from the centre of the rickhouse where maturation runs most evenly. The nose is caramel, vanilla, roasted nut and charred oak. The palate is dense brown sugar with dark cherry and pepper carried on a heavy, coating texture, and the finish is very long, warm and dry with wood spice. Pour a small measure neat, then add water drop by drop until it opens.
