Boss Babe Biatch Reposado is a rested tequila made from blue agave in Jalisco. Reposado is the middle tier of the category, spending between two months and a year in oak, which is long enough to pull colour and a vanilla softness out of the wood without burying the agave the way a long anejo maturation can. The nose is cooked agave, vanilla and light oak. The palate is caramel and roasted agave with soft pepper and a citrus lift running through it, and the finish is smooth, warm and gently sweet. It works in both directions. Sip it neat from a copita, or use it to build a rounder, oakier margarita.
