Bozeman Spirits Bobcat Gold Bourbon Whiskey 750 ml

Bobcat Gold is a bourbon from Bozeman Spirits Distillery, a small operation in downtown Bozeman that works with Montana grain and Gallatin Valley water. Like every bourbon it is aged in new charred oak, and it drinks like a house pour built for people who actually finish the bottle rather than photograph it. The nose is caramel corn and vanilla; the palate brings brown sugar, baked apple and a little toasted oak; the finish is soft, sweet and short enough to invite another sip. Pour it neat, over a large cube, or into a highball with ginger ale when you want the glass to last.
