Montana Cold Spring Lemon is the citrus expression in Bozeman Spirits' vodka line, distilled in downtown Bozeman with Rocky Mountain spring water and flavoured with lemon rather than sweetened into candy. The base vodka is clean and neutral, so the citrus reads bright instead of syrupy. The nose is fresh lemon zest and a little blossom; the palate is tart peel, faint sweetness and a soft grain body; the finish is crisp and short, with the pith bitterness you only get from real lemon. Keep the bottle in the freezer and pour it over ice with soda and a wedge, or build it into a lemon drop or a vodka collins.
