Bruichladdich The Laddie Rye 7 year 750ml
About this bottle
The Laddie Rye is a seven-year rye whisky from Bruichladdich, the Islay distillery better known for unpeated single malt and for growing its grain close to home. Rye is a rare thing in Scotland, and it brings a different set of flavours than barley does — sharper, greener and far more peppery. Expect a nose of dill, orchard fruit and warm bread; a palate of black pepper, cereal spice, honey and a coastal salinity that reads unmistakably Islay; and a long, dry, spiced finish. Drink it neat with a drop of water, or put it in a rye old fashioned that will taste like nothing else on your shelf.
