Bubbas Pancake and bacon 750ml

Bubba's Pancake and Bacon goes exactly where the name says — maple syrup, griddle batter and smoky bacon, played straight rather than subtly. Flavoured whiskeys like this build on a light whiskey base so the added flavours sit on top without a heavy grain or oak note fighting them for room. The nose is maple syrup and warm pancake; the palate is sweet buttered batter, brown sugar and a savoury smoked note running underneath; the finish is sweet, short and smoky at the edges. Serve it very cold as a shot, pour it over vanilla ice cream, or spike a cup of coffee with it on a slow morning.
