About this bottle
Camarena Anejo is a 100% blue agave tequila from La Alteña, the family distillery in the Jalisco highlands that also produces El Tesoro — the Camarena family has been distilling tequila since the 1930s. Rested a full year in American oak, it picks up real oak, vanilla, and caramel depth over the highland agave's characteristically sweeter, more floral base than lowland tequila. It's a well-made, reliably sourced anejo that punches above its everyday price point.
