Canadian Club Chronicles is the brand's limited-release line of aged Canadian whiskies, and this 42 Year Issue No. 2 draws on some of the oldest stocks in the Canadian Club warehouses in Windsor, Ontario. At this age the whisky leans heavily into deep oak, dried fruit and baking spice rather than the lighter, easy-mixing profile of standard Canadian Club. Expect toffee, dried apricot and old leather on the nose, a rich, woody palate, and a long finish with real tannic grip. It's built for slow, neat sipping and collecting rather than for a highball, priced and positioned as the brand's flagship rarity.
