Cane Rock Rum 700ml

Cane Rock is a Jamaican rum, and Jamaica is the island that made rum's loudest style — long fermentations that throw off fruity, almost solvent-bright esters, the character rum drinkers call funk. Cane Rock keeps that on a leash: present enough that you know where the bottle came from, restrained enough to drink without an argument. The nose is banana, toasted coconut and vanilla; the palate runs caramel and ripe tropical fruit over a light oak spine; the finish is dry and clean rather than syrupy. Pour it over a big cube, or build a daiquiri with fresh lime and a bar spoon of sugar.
