Cantadrink Cantarito Drink Tequila 375 ML

Cantadrink Cantarito is a bottled version of the cantarito, the tequila cooler served in a clay cup across Jalisco: tequila with lime, orange and grapefruit and salt around the rim. The clay pot gives the original its name and its cold, earthy edge; the bottle skips the pottery and keeps the ratio, which is the harder part to get right at home anyway. The nose is grapefruit and orange peel; the palate is citrus-forward and lightly sweet with the tequila sitting underneath rather than on top; the finish is tart and refreshing. Serve it very cold over ice with a salted rim and a lime wheel.
