Caramba Black 750 ML

Caramba Black sits at the dark end of the Caramba range, an aged agave spirit that has spent enough time in oak to trade the pepper of a blanco for something rounder and sweeter. Barrel time works quickly on tequila — the spirit takes colour and vanilla out of wood faster than whiskey does — so an aged agave pour reads soft and almost dessert-adjacent while the cooked agave still shows underneath it. Expect caramel, vanilla and cooked agave on the nose, a palate of butterscotch, dried fruit and warm spice, and a long, sweet finish. Serve it neat in a copita, or over one large cube.
