Casa Obsidiana Reposado is blue Weber agave tequila rested in oak — long enough to pick up colour and soften the edges, not long enough to bury the agave. That balance is the whole point of the category, and it makes reposado the most flexible tequila on most shelves. The nose is cooked agave with vanilla and light oak; the palate brings butterscotch, cooked pear and a peppery snap over the agave sweetness; the finish is warm and clean.
