Sacred Spring is the vodka from Castle & Key, the restored Kentucky distillery near Frankfort that draws its water from a limestone spring on the property — the same kind of water that makes the region's whiskey. Vodka gives a distillery nowhere to hide, and this one is built clean rather than aggressively neutral. The nose is faint and sweet, with a light grain note; the palate is soft and slightly creamy, with subtle sweetness, a hint of citrus and no burn to speak of; the finish is short and clean.
