About this bottle
Tequila Cazadores has been distilling in Arandas, in the highlands of Jalisco, since 1922, and this estate release marks the centenary. Highland agave tends to run sweeter and more floral than the earthier plants grown on the valley floor, and Cazadores has built its house style around that. Time in oak gives this one an amber cast and a rounder shape. The nose is cooked agave, vanilla and toasted oak; the palate brings caramel, dried fruit, baking spice and a light cocoa note; the finish is long, warm and gently sweet. Pour it neat in a copita and drink it slowly, after dinner.
