About this bottle
Cazadores Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila made in the highlands of Jalisco, where higher elevation and cooler nights are said to give the agave more sugar and a fruitier character than lowland tequila. It rests about two months in American oak barrels — a short reposado hold that takes the edge off the blanco's pepper without piling on heavy oak flavor. The result stays agave-forward, with cooked agave and citrus up front and just a whisper of vanilla and caramel from the wood. It's one of the more widely poured mid-shelf tequilas in the US and a reliable house pour for a Margarita program.
