Chrome Horse Society Blanco 750ml

Chrome Horse Society Blanco is an unaged tequila, bottled straight after distillation with no barrel time in between. That is the whole argument for a blanco: nothing is standing between you and the agave, so the raw material and the way it was cooked and distilled are what you taste. Cooked agave, lime zest and a touch of green herb lead the nose. The palate is clean and peppery, with citrus and a light mineral note underneath, and the finish is crisp and dry with black pepper at the end. Pour it in a margarita where the agave should still be audible, over ice with soda and lime, or straight in a chilled glass.
