Cointreau Citrus Spritz is a ready-to-serve spritz built on Cointreau, the orange liqueur made in Angers since 1849 that classic cocktails from the sidecar to the margarita were written around. This one leans lemon and lime: the bittersweet orange of the base is still there underneath, but the sharper citrus on top makes it lighter and easier to drink over ice. Fresh lemon peel and lime zest on the nose over orange oil, a bright and only lightly sweet palate, and a short dry finish with a faint bitter-peel edge. No measuring, no shaking. Pour it over a full glass of ice, top with soda if you want it longer, and garnish with a lemon wheel.
