About this bottle
Crater Lake Prohibition Gin is an Oregon dry gin from Bendistillery, distilled in small copper pot stills and named for the bootleg era it evokes. The botanical bill leans heavier and more assertive than a standard London dry, with juniper pushed forward rather than softened for the cocktail crowd. The nose opens on pine and crushed juniper berry, with citrus peel behind it. On the palate it is dry and resinous, coriander and angelica filling the middle, a little pepper on the edges. The finish is clean and cooling with lingering evergreen. Built for a stirred martini or a gin and tonic that still tastes like gin.
