Cutwater Spicy Mango Margarita is a canned margarita from the San Diego distillery, built on their own tequila with mango and a chili heat that arrives after the fruit rather than alongside it. Four 355ml cans, no shaker, no salt rim unless you want one. The nose is tropical and ripe, mango over lime zest with a faint pepper note. The palate is sweet then sharp, mango and citrus leading before the chili builds across the middle. The finish is warm and tingling, drying out as the heat fades. Pour over ice into a salt-rimmed glass with a lime wedge and drink it cold.
