Denizen Wanderer Series is an eight-year aged rum from a brand built for bartenders, blended for cocktails rather than for a shelf display. Denizen has always leaned on blending across islands, pairing heavier pot-still character with lighter column distillate so the finished rum keeps its shape once sugar and citrus arrive. Molasses, dried banana and baking spice come through on the nose; the palate is toffee and ripe tropical fruit with a funky pot-still edge running underneath; the finish turns dry and oaky with a grassy lift at the end. Use it in a mai tai or a daiquiri, or drink it neat to see the blend clearly.
