Dented Brick Craft Tequila comes from the Salt Lake City distillery best known for its vodka and gin, working with blue weber agave spirit produced in Mexico as the law requires of anything carrying the tequila name. It is a straightforward pour rather than a collector's bottle, aimed at the shelf where a tequila has to work in a round of margaritas without complaint. The nose runs to cooked agave, citrus and a little white pepper; the palate is sweet agave with green herbs and a light mineral salt; the finish stays clean and peppery. Shake it into a margarita, or pour it long over ice with grapefruit soda.
