Dom Perignon Rose Champagne 2010 750 ml

Dom Perignon Rose 2010 is a vintage rose champagne, and the pink is not decorative: the house builds it by giving pinot noir a leading role and adding red wine from that same harvest, which is why it drinks with more grip and more fruit weight than the white bottling. Long lees ageing in cellar does the rest. Red berry, rose petal and toasted spice on the nose; wild strawberry and blood orange over fine chalk on the palate; a long, structured, dry finish. Rose champagne handles food better than most people expect. Serve it around ten degrees with duck, salmon or anything off a charcoal grill.
