About this bottle

Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is Ruinart's prestige vintage cuvée, made entirely from Chardonnay — a style the House has built its reputation on since its founding in 1729, which makes Ruinart the oldest established champagne house. The Chardonnay-only blend gives the wine a distinct profile: an opening of chestnut, coconut and fresh bread on the nose that shifts into iris, lily-of-the-valley and orange blossom, then bergamot and citron. Underneath sits a mineral edge of wet stone and flint, with a faint saline note carrying through. It's a structured, aromatically layered champagne built for someone who already appreciates Blanc de Blancs and wants the most refined expression of it.

How to drink Dom Ruinart Blanc Vintage

Chill it well, around 45–48°F, and give it a few extra minutes in the glass before drinking — the aromatics open up as it warms slightly. It's a strong match for oysters, other raw shellfish, or a simple soft cheese that won't fight the citrus and mineral notes.
