Dona Loca Tequila Anejo 750ml

Dona Loca Anejo is a blue weber agave tequila from Jalisco that has spent at least a year in oak, which is the minimum the anejo designation allows and long enough to change the spirit's shape. Time in wood rounds the raw pepper of young tequila into something softer and sweeter without burying the agave underneath it. The nose is cooked agave, vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is caramel and baked apple with cinnamon and a cocoa edge, and the finish runs warm and oaky with agave returning at the very end. Drink it neat in a tasting glass, or over one large cube after dinner.
