About this bottle
Dos Angeles Caidos Anejo is the oldest of the brand's core blue weber agave tequilas, carrying the anejo designation that requires at least twelve months in oak. A year or more in wood pulls the spirit toward the whiskey drinker's side of the shelf: darker, sweeter, more about vanilla and caramel than green pepper, with the agave holding its ground underneath. The nose is toasted oak, vanilla bean and cooked agave. The palate is caramel, dried fruit and cocoa, and the finish is long and gently sweet with oak spice trailing off. Drink it neat in a tasting glass, or over one large cube as a nightcap.
