About this bottle
Dos Armadillos Anejo is a blue weber agave tequila carrying the anejo designation, which means at least a year in oak before bottling. Aged tequila trades the bright pepper of a blanco for weight and sweetness, and an anejo is usually the bottle in a range that sits comfortably next to a bourbon at the end of the night. The nose is cooked agave with vanilla and toasted oak. The palate brings butterscotch, baked apple and cinnamon with agave still readable underneath, and the finish is warm and oaky and slow to leave. Pour it neat at room temperature, or over a single large cube.
