Dos Armadillos Reposado 750 ml

Dos Armadillos Reposado is a blue weber agave tequila rested in oak for the two-to-twelve months that the reposado designation permits. That short stay is the point of the category: enough wood to soften the spirit and lend a straw colour, not enough to erase the cooked agave that makes tequila worth drinking in the first place. The nose is cooked agave with light vanilla and citrus oil. The palate is honey and agave with soft caramel and a white pepper lift, and the finish is smooth and gently spiced. Sip it neat, or let it carry a tommy's margarita where the agave should still be the loudest thing in the glass.
