Double A Affirmation & Accountability is an American bourbon whiskey and the entry point of a range that names each release after a pair of virtues. Like all bourbon it is corn-led and matured in new charred oak, the two rules that give the category its caramel-and-vanilla backbone before any individual producer's choices come into it. The nose is vanilla, corn sweetness and light oak. The palate is caramel and honey with cinnamon over a soft grain middle, and the finish is medium and gently spiced without turning dry. This is an easy weeknight pour. Drink it neat, over ice, or in a highball with soda and a lemon peel.
