Dry Fly Huckleberry Vodka is a flavoured vodka from Dry Fly Distilling in Spokane, Washington, a grain-to-glass distillery that works with wheat grown in the surrounding country and puts its base spirit behind the fruit rather than the other way round. Huckleberry is the Northwest's berry, tarter and darker than a blueberry, and that tartness keeps this on the dry side of flavoured vodka instead of the candy side. The nose is dark wild berry over a soft grain sweetness. The palate is huckleberry and blueberry skin, and the finish is clean and dry with the fruit trailing off. Serve it ice cold, or with lemonade and soda over ice.
