About this bottle
El Jimador Reposado is produced at Casa Herradura's distillery in Amatitán, Jalisco, and takes its name from the jimadores — the field workers who harvest agave by hand. It's one of the best-selling tequilas in Mexico, made from 100% blue Weber agave and rested roughly two months in oak before bottling. The reposado shows a pale gold color with cooked agave, vanilla, and light citrus on the nose, and a smooth, slightly sweet palate with soft oak and caramel underneath. It's built to be an everyday tequila rather than a special-occasion sipper — reliable, approachable, and priced to be a house pour.
How to drink El Jimador Reposado
This one earns its keep in a margarita or Paloma, though it's smooth enough to take neat or over ice if you'd rather skip the mixer.
