About this bottle
el Jimador Silver is a 100% blue agave tequila made at Casa Herradura in Amatitan, Jalisco, and named for the jimadores who cut the agave by hand in the fields. It is bottled unaged at 40% ABV, so the agave does the talking: cooked agave and white pepper on the nose, then citrus, a light herbal green bite and a clean mineral edge across the palate, finishing short, peppery and dry. This 50 ml bottle is sized for a single pour, a travel bag or a tasting line-up. Shake it into a margarita, lengthen it with grapefruit soda for a paloma, or pour it over ice with a lime wedge.
