Elvelo Blanco 750 ml

Elvelo Blanco is a Mexican tequila bottled unaged, straight from the still with no time in oak to soften or colour it. Blanco is the most direct read on a tequila's raw material, all cooked agave, fermentation character and cut with nothing borrowed from a barrel, and it is the style most bartenders reach for when they want the agave to survive a mixer. Expect roasted agave and citrus on the nose, a palate of lime zest, white pepper and a green herbal edge, and a short, clean, peppery finish. Shake it into a margarita, lengthen it with grapefruit soda for a paloma, or pour it over ice.
